Robotics CNC Machining

Precision machined parts for robots, cobots and automation. Joints, housings, gearbox components, end-effectors and mounting plates, milled and turned to your drawing on 3-, 4- and 5-axis equipment, inspected in-house, AS9100D certified.

Robotics lives or dies on fits and weight. Bearing bores have to be round and concentric, joint housings have to be light without flexing, and gearbox parts have to survive the wear. Fenva machines all of it to drawing on the same floor: aluminium for the light structure, hardened steel and 17-4PH where it wears, titanium where you need strong and light at once. Send a drawing and you get a line-item quote in 48 hours, one prototype or a production batch, with no minimum order.

Robotics parts we machine

Part family Material we reach for Why
Robot joints & housings6061 / 7075 aluminiumHigh stiffness-to-weight, anodizes for wear and looks
Gearbox & harmonic-drive componentsHardened steel / 17-4PHHardness and wear resistance for loaded gear and cam surfaces
End-effector & gripper partsAluminium / Ti-6Al-4VLight and precise at the tool point, titanium where loads are high
Mounting plates & frames6061 aluminiumFlat, stable, economical structural base for the whole assembly
Shafts, pulleys & turned fittingsStainless / steel / brassConcentric turned features for drives and bearings

These are the common material grades we run most often. We also machine other grades on request.

Capability

What we can hold

  • 3-, 4- and 5-axis milling plus CNC turning, so complex joint geometry and multi-face brackets finish in fewer setups.
  • General tolerance ISO 2768-m as standard; down to ±0.01 mm on bearing fits and the features that need it.
  • Concentricity and roundness controlled on turned and bored features, verified on in-house CMM and vision systems.
  • Lightweighting with thin walls, deep pockets and tight bores, with DFM feedback before machining begins.

Finishes for robotics parts

As-machined, bead blast, brushed, clear, colour and hard anodizing (Type II / III) for aluminium, and black oxide for steel parts.

Where it goes

Robotics OEMs, collaborative robots (cobots), AGV and AMR mobile platforms, and factory automation. We also run commercial aerospace and UAV, components for medical and lab equipment, and EV and electronics work on the same equipment.
